2019 Estelle Vineyard Amber Grenache Blanc

This is our first time making an Amber wine and we're very happy with the result.  For an Amber wine, ours is clean, bright and very drinkable with having a big body.  It has tropical notes, bright acidity, slight nuttiness on the palate and a much more pronounced tannin structure than our other whites.  This is a great "introduction" to the world of Amber wines. This Grenache Blanc was skin fermented in an open top fermenter for 11 days with three punch-downs daily. After pressing it sat in stainless steel for the first year and then racked into a neutral oak barrel for another year before bottling.
